NJROTC program hosts annual field meet

Newton-Conover High School's NJROTC hosted its 18th annual field meet this past Saturday, bringing in 25 schools and 27 teams.

Each team competed in 14 events including pull-up competitions and sandbag races.

Cadet Commanding Officer Phillip Wagner, who manages 108 of his fellow Newton-Conover cadets said of the field meet, “This is fun for the kids. It's competitive and creates unity.”
