Newton police seek help identifying suspects

On Sunday, Feb. 17, the Newton Police Department responded to 36 Northwest Blvd (US 321 Business) Newton, reference a reported armed robbery at the CVS. 

Upon arrival, officers were advised a white female  entered the store and proceeded to walk directly to the rear of the store to the pharmacy. 

The female suspect presented the pharmacy technician with a note demanding Oxycontin and also stated in the note that she had a gun and not to call police.  A weapon was never displayed.  The pharmacy technician presented the note to the pharmacist who asked the female suspect what kind of Oxycontin she wanted.  The female suspect replied “30 mg.”  The pharmacist complied and presented the female suspect with 262 pills of 30mg Oxycontin to which the female suspect replied “thank you.”  The female suspect then proceeded to walk to the front of the store and exit the building.
