October 25, 2012

Ghouls, goblins, ghosts, witches and warlocks and every other costume in between is welcome to join Honey’s and the Newton Recreation Department for the Downtown Newton Halloween Spooktacular, Saturday, Oct. 27 from 5-8 p.m.

Children of all ages will enjoy a truck-or-treat sponsored by the Newton Festival and Events Committee. Local businesses and civic groups will be on hand Saturday during the festivities to hand out candy during the duration of the event.

The holiday themed event features a spooky walk thru, free hot dog dinner and 1,500 pounds of free candy donated from Honey’s IGA. There will also be a cake walk, inflatables and more.
