Newton to host candidate forum Tuesday

The public is invited to the Meet the Candidates Forum Tuesday 7 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Catawba County Farm Bureau and prepare voters for the general elections in November. The forum will be held at the Newton-Conover Auditorium located at West 6th Street and North Ashe Avenue.

The forum includes a question-and-answer session. Questions directed to the candidates will be general interest questions from voters as well as agricultural-specific questions.
