Newton has canceled its city council meeting scheduled for Tuesday.
The council will next meet April 17 at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall.

Nope, I think I will just sit back and ENJOY MY FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT OF FREEDOM OF SPEECH (in both thought and writing). Oh, don't worry there are those who will be speaking up , and you may not (no I guarantee) you wont like what will be said!
So I suggest you get your anger in check!

WE THE TAXPAYERS and BOSSES! (Iknow that is a new concept!)
Should know precisely WHY the meeting is canceled with little or no notice!
Now this is something to "crow" about! This is our monthly opportunity to air our grievances and see the progreess or lack there of that our government makes.
I want to know why the meeting is canceled.
I smell a rat!

If you have so much to say and the monthly meeting is your opportunity to air your grievances you would know why the meeting was canceled. It was done at the last meeting, must have missed that one did you have nothing to air or is your backbone made of jello. Come on to the next meeting and air what bothers you. No one speaks when asked. Get a life!
