Newton-Conover City Schools first fitness challenge reaps positive results

The Newton-Conover City Schools completed its first Fall- Fitness Challenge 2012 for employees of the district. 

The challenge was to complete 150 minutes of exercise per week for four weeks (600 min. or 10 hours) prior to the holidays. 

Those participating completed a log of their activities and then submitted their activity log to the Central Office for prize drawings. 

The program was sponsored by the Newton-Conover City Schools SHAC (School Health Advisory Committee) under the direction of Mr. Bill Long, Director of High School Curriculum and Student Services
