Last time I checked, we live in a democratic republic!

I have a right to petition my government for redress of my greivanes, so I would like to know the exact and specific reason that I am not afforded the opportunity at the regularly and previously appointed time!

If I wanted to ruled by a Junta or Politburo, I would live in Cuba or the former Soviet Union. (Although a trip to "Plaza Latino" and the restrictions on commerce by regulations of teh Newton City Planners office to closely replicate the aforementions "People's Republic!)
