Newton City Council approves new logo

The city of Newton is now one step closer to having a new logo.

The city council approved in Tuesday’s meeting to adopt a new theme and font for a new logo. In a 3-3 vote, Mayor Anne Stedman voted in favor and the council chose a new theme and font but not a tagline as they decided to table the discussion for a later meeting.
