New school nearly complete

May 2, 2012

Newton-Conover's new middle school facility will be completed in the next few weeks, district leaders said Wednesday.

"I'd say it's 95 percent completed now, the whole project," said Newton-Conover City Schools (NCCS) board member Jim Stockner. "It looks like we're running right on schedule."

The facility is set to welcome students Aug. 7 for the start of the 2012-13 school year.
