The Green Room Community Theatre brings William Shakespeare’s “Midsummer Night’s Dream” to Newton starting Thursday evening. Seen here during  dress rehearsal Thursday evening, Nick Bottom, played by Ben Thomas, has been transformed into a donkey and receives a kiss from Queen Titania, played by Kelsey Perry, who is under the spell of a love potion, while the pair are surrounded by Titania's court of fairies. Performances are scheduled 8 p.m. nightly through Saturday on the patio at Grace Reformed United Church of Christ located at 117 East J St. in Newton. For more information about the show contact The Green Room at 828-464-6583 or visit www.the-green-room.org. No tickets are required for this event and admission is free. Weather permitting the production will be held on the patio. Guests are asked to bring a blanket or lawn chairs. If inclement weather occurs the play will be held inside the church’s fellowship hall. Seating will be provided.
