Man arrested on multiple charges

January 9, 2013

A Newton man was arrested early Monday morning with two arrest warrants against him.

Ryan Brandon Pressely, 28, of 3470 Robinson Rd., Newton, was arrested on one charge of First Degree Burglary at 2:20 a.m. Jan. 7, then charged again at 4 a.m. for a charge of Breaking and or Entering.

Pressley was first charged with a burglary on Robinson Road near his own residents. Once in custody at the Catawba County Detention Center, Sheriff Coy Reid said officers were able to link him to a breaking and or entering that occurred at the Catawba Country Club.
