Maiden wins battle of tennis unbeatens, ousts Bandys

When Maiden traveled to Bandys for a battle of unbeaten girls tennis teams in the Catawba Valley 2A on Tuesday, something had to give.

The Lady Blue Devils won 5-of-6 singles matches, coming away with a 7-2 victory against the Lady Trojans in Catawba.

Records: Maiden 10-1 overall, 7-0 in the CVAC; Bandys 8-1 overall, 6-1 in the CVAC.
