LRU students arrested on drug charges

Two Lenoir-Rhyne University students were arrested on campus for drug related charges Monday, Feb.25.

D e v o n Sutherland, 21, of 743 6th St NE, Hi c k o r y, was arrested across the street from the Fritz-Conrad dormitories at about 11 p.m.

He was charged with one count of Felony possession with intent to distribute oxycodone, one count of Felony possession with intent to distribute Ecstasy and one count of Felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, according to the Hickory Police statements.
