LRDs beat Lady Blue Devils, move into sole first place

Newton-Conover volleyball coach Linda Richards was honored on Tuesday for her history 500th win last week.

The Lady Red Devils responded by saluting their coach the best way they knew how — winning.

Newton-Conover pulled out to early leads in its first two sets against Maiden and pulled away at the end for a four-set home victory in conference play.
