Longtime ‘Phantom’ to visit Newton

When he's not traveling nine months out of the year, Franc D’Ambrosio goes home. Well, he says, I guess you could call it that.

“It’s odd for me to go back to my home, I feel less comfortable,” he said.

“It takes me a few moments to get used to everything again.”

His true reality or home, he says, is on the stage — something he will share with local residents this weekend.

D’Ambrosio will perform some of his most famous Broadway numbers Saturday at 8 p.m. at his “Unmasked” performance at the Newton-Conover Auditorium.
