Long-time coaches Morgan, Carpenter enshrined

Two long-time area wrestling coaches were honored by the North Carolina Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame on Sunday.

Former Catawba County wrestling coaches Steve Morgan and Larry Carpenter were presented with Lifetime Service to Wrestling awards.

Afterwards, both men were inducted in the North Carolina Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. Their names will be enshrined in the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in Stillwater, Okla.
