LIVE: Miami (19-6) at Charlotte (7-20)

The Charlotte Bobcats welcome the Miami Heat to Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte for a Wednesday night contest in the NBA's Southeast Division.

The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 7-20, while Miami is 19-6, coming off of a 103-98 victory against Oklahoma City on Christmas Day.

First quarter
Miami pulling ahead behind some explosive plays, including a pair of dunks by LeBron James.

Charlotte pulls back into the game with a 7-0 run. Miami answers with a 6-0 run to re-extend the lead.

The Heat lead 27-18 after the first quarter of play. Miami's LeBron James with 11 points, four rebounds and four steals early. Ramon Sessions leads Charlotte off of the bench with seven points.

Second quarter
Charlotte's deficit is 36-23 with 7:24 left in the first quarter. Both team's utilizing their benches. Ramon Sessions with nine points off of the bench for Charlotte.

With 5:53 left until halftime, Miami leads 38-25. Dwayne Wade has checked back in for the Heat.

A 3-point play by Hakim Warrick cuts Charlotte's deficit to 11 points, but Dwayne Wade answers with a 3-point play of his own to negate the play. Miami pushes lead to 18 points with 2:35 left until halftime.

Miami leads 55-38 at halftime. LeBron James leads the Heat with 16 points and eight rebounds, while Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade each added 11 points. Charlotte is paced by 14 points from Kemba Walker and 13 points from Ramon Sessions.

Third quarter
Bobcats cut lead to eight points early in the quarter behind four points each from Gerald Henderson and Hakim Warrick. Heat call timeout with 7:44 left in the third quarter. Miami leads 58-50.

Heat extend lead back into double digits, 66-53, with 5:55 left in the third.

Charlotte has cut its deficit to 78-71 at the end of the third quarter. Kemba Walker has 23 points for Charlotte, while LeBron James has scored 19 points.

Fourth quarter
Charlotte continues to play gritty in the second half. The Bobcats trail by only 83-77 with 9:38 left in the game.

After a Hakim Warrick jumper, Gerald Henderson completed a 3-point play to cut Miami's lead to 84-82.

Lebron James' 3-pointer, only his sixth point of the half, helps Miami gain a small cushion 87-82 with 6:21 left in the second half.

Miami's Shane Battier with two key plays for Miami. He takes a charge on a lay up attempt made by Bismack Biyombo. Battier connects on a 3-pointer in the corner to extend the Heat lead to 95-85 with 4:00 left in Wednesday's game.

Miami wins Wednesday's Southeast Division game, 105-92.

The Heat come away with a 102-91 victory against Charlotte. LeBron James led Miami with 27 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists, while Dwayne Wade added 29 points and nine rebounds. Kemba Walker led Charlotte with 26 points and six assists.

Charlotte falls for the 16th consecutive game. The Bobcats are back in action Saturday at home against the New Orleans Hornets.
