The Observer News Enterprise is live at Time Warner Cable Arena for tonight's NBA game between the Memphis Grizzlies (7-1) and Charlotte Bobcats (4-3).

1st quarter
Bobcats trail 19-12 early during first television timeout. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist with three points and four rebounds earlier.

Memphis takes timeout to avoid traveling call. Charlotte's Ben Gordon with a team-high five points off of the bench. Grizzlies lead 29-22. Zach Randolph with nine points for Memphis.

Charlotte cuts lead to three points with a dunk by Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.

2nd quarter

Grizzlies goes on a run and expands lead to 14, 45-31. Mike Conley and Tony Allen each with 10 points each, while Zach Randolph has nine points.

Bobcats cut lead down inside 10 points. Memphis leads 47-38 at halftime. Ben Gordon leads the 'Cats with 10 points. Mike Conley and Rudy Gay each have 10 points for the Grizzlies.

HALFTIME - MEMPHIS 47, CHARLOTTE 38

3rd quarter
Memphis is maintaining its lead early in the second half. Grizzlies lead 64-51 with 5:07 left in third quarter.

Hakim Warrick, a former Grizzly, enters the game for the first time since being acquired in a trade with New Orleans this week for Matt Carroll.

With under two minutes to go in third quarter, Bobcats forward Tyrus Thoms goes down, but gets back up. He exits the game in favor of Byron Mullens.

Memphis grows its lead to the biggest of the game at 17. The third quarter comes to a close. Grizzlies lead the Bobcats, 75-60.

4th quarter
'Cats clawing into lead. Kemba Walker's jumper with 7:43 left in the game has the Memphis lead down to 11. Grizzlies call time out.

Charlotte rallying behind guard Kemba Walker, who scores two-straight baskets to cut deficit to six points. Crowd at TWC Arena going crazy.

Rudy Gay picks up his fifth foul with 5:34 left in the game. Charlotte continues to rally.

Gay fouls out with 3:54 left in the game. Memphis leads 83-74.

Charlotte trying to cut lead down. It's at five with 45.2 seconds left and Mike Conley at the free throw line.

Bobcats continuing to foul and score, hoping to tie game. However, time finally expires.

FINAL SCORE: MEMPHIS 94, CHARLOTTE 87

Memphis improves to 8-1 overall, while Charlotte falls to 4-4. The Bobcats return home Monday when they host the Milwaukee Bucks.

Byrun Mullens led Charlotte with 18 points and nine rebounds. Kemba Walker added 17 points, five rebounds and eight assists.

Mike Conley paced Memphis with 20 points, while Zach Randolph added 18 points and 12 rebounds.
