LIVE: CVCC vs. Heartland in NJCAA World Series

The Catawba Valley Community College baseball team (38-16) is competing right now against Heartland Community College (52-7) at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Div. II World Series in Enid, Okla.

Heartland defeated Catawba Valley, 5-4, in the opening game of the tournament on Saturday.

The winner advances to 7 p.m. Thursday game against either Madison Community College (45-11) or the winner of Des Moines Area Community College (51-13) or Western Oklahoma State Community College (46-15).
