South Iredell wins toss, elects to receive

Vikings take drive and in just over one minute, score on a 16-yard run from Lachaston Smith. With 10:32 left in the first quarter, South Iredell leads, 7-0.

Bandys goes three-and-out on its first possession. Hunter Lackey punts 11 yards.

Three-yard touchdown run for Eythan Kramm with 7:53 left in first makes it a 14-0 South Iredell lead.

Devan Davis runs for 16 yards to give Bandys its initial first down of the game. Anthony Toscano also completes a pass on third down to keep his team's drive going. Trojans driving deep into the Viking territory.

Bandys' 34-yard field goal attempt by Travis Kiser is no good. South Iredell gets the ball back with 2:15 left.

South Iredell caught holding in the end zone. By rule, Bandys earns a safety and cuts its deficit to 14-2 with 2:08 left in first quarter. Trojans getting ball back on punt.

Toscano completes a nine-yard pass to Hunter Lackey, who makes a spectacular one-handed catch.

END OF FIRST QUARTER - SOUTH IREDELL 14, BANDYS 2

Bandys' drive stalls, and South Iredell goes back on offense.

Vikings cap third-straight scoring drive with a one-yard run from Lachaston Smith. Vikings lead 21-2 with 6:25 left until halftime.

Trojans get the ball back. Bandys driving and trying to score with 43 seconds left in the half.

Bandys down to the South Iredell 20-yard line with 14 seconds left.

Five seconds to go, Toscano fails to get in the end zone on the half's final play.

HALFTIME - SOUTH IREDELL 21, BANDYS 2

Bandys goes three-and-out on offense to start the second half. Trojans fake punt, Toscano completes to Lackey for eight yards. First down Bandys.

Trojans get stopped on third down again. Hunter Lackey punts down to the 20-yard line, where South Iredell takes over.

South Iredell extends lead to 28-2 with an eight-yard touchdown run from Jaylon Stockton with 6:12 left in the third quarter.

After Trojans stall on offense again, Vikings score again on another one-yard touchdown run from Lachaston Smith with 2:43 left in the game. South Iredell 35, Bandys 2.

END OF THIRD QUARTER - SOUTH IREDELL 35, BANDYS 2

Trojans continue to struggle on offense. South Iredell gets the ball back and Rasheed Degree runs 63 yards to get the Vikings back into the red zone inside the 10-yard line.

Spenser Kingsley's 32-yard field goal ups the South Iredell lead to 38-2 with 10:10 left in the game.

South Iredell once again gets the ball back. Rasheed Degree scores from 34 yards away. With 7:11 left in the game, Vikings blowing out Bandys, 45-2.

Bandys gets on the board with an 18-yard touchdown pass from Toscano to Lackey. Extra point is no good. South Iredell 45, Bandys 8.

Bandys' Dillon Street scores from 17 yards out as time expires.

FINAL SCORE - SOUTH IREDELL 45, BANDYS 14
