No. 3 Hickory 82, No. 6 South Caldwell 59
The Red Tornadoes face St. Stephens on Friday for a chance to advance to Saturday's Classic title game.

No. 1 Fred T. Foard 74, No. 8 Maiden 47
Tigers lead 20-8 at the end of the first quarter. In girl's action, Hickory leads South Caldwell at halftime, 48-9.

Jacbo Schmidt nails a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Foard a 41-21 lead at halftime. Jordan Turner paces Foard with 10 points.

Maiden calls timeout with 3:37 left in the third quarter. Foard leads 54-28.

Tigers leading 66-30. Jordan Turner with a big third quarter, including 10 points. He has scored 20 points in the game. Randal Ortiz and Anthony Miller lead Maiden with six points each.

Foard wins 74-47 to advance to the second round of the tournament. Jordan Turner led Foard with 20 points, while Deric Barnes added 14 points. Maiden was paced by Anthony Miller, who scored nine points.

In girl's action, Hickory defeats South Caldwell, 75-22.

No. 2 St. Stephens 74, No. 7 Bunker Hill 51
Bunker Hill calls a 30-second timeout with 1:51 left in the first quarter. Indians lead 20-7. Saint's Kerigan Farley with eight early points, while Marcus Conner has six points. J'len Wilson leading Bunker Hill with four points.

Kerigan Farley with 15 points early for Saint, who leads 27-9 after the first quarter. Indians are 9-for-9 from the free throw line.

With 3:09 left in the first quarter, St. Stephens calls timeout ahead 35-15 on Bunker Hill.

St. Stephens leads 45-15 at halftime. The Indians' Kerigan Farley with 17 points to lead all scorers in the first half. Saint is perfect from the free throw line, making all 17 attempts.

Bunker Hill powers back with a solid third quarter, outscoring Bunker Hill 25-11 in the stanza. However, St. Stephens holds off the late charge to come away with a 74-51 victory.

Kerigan Farley led St. Stephens (10-0) with 19 points. J'Len Wilson also scored 19 points for Bunker Hill (0-7).
