A Lifetime of Baseball

80 years of history and 57 years of marriage have been tied together with red laces for one local couple.

"I never thought I'd own a baseball team," said Luther Beaver, part owner of the Hickory Crawdads. "When it came time to make a living, baseball had to take a backseat."
