Last Big Mac attack for awhile

February 8, 2013

Starting Sunday, McDonald’s fans wanting their Big Mac attacks will have to wait about 100 days before they can sit down again at the restaurant’s U.S. 70 Conover location.

The 34-year-old building will be torn down to make way for a more modern McDonalds. Loyal customers won’t suffer for long, though, as McDonald’s plans to re-open later this summer. The new restaurant will cost $1.3 million.

“It will hopefully create a better experience for customers in the future,” owner John Link said.
The rebuild of the eatery should take roughly 100 days.
