Make it three in a row for Newton-Conover.

The Red Devils duo of Ryan Lampe and John Tate claimed the third-straight tennis state championship at the Cary Tennis Center on Saturday.

Lampe and Tate defeated Salisbury's Alan Lebowitz and Abraham Post in 1-of-2 semifinal match-ups 6-1, 6-2.

In the championship match, Lampe and Tate easily topped Wilkes Central's Jesse Massucco and Evan Day in straight sets 6-3, 6-1.

In 2010, the team of Will Huggins and Hang Lak Choi claimed a doubles championship.

A year later, Choi, a senior, teamed with Lampe to win yet another doubles tennis state crown.

Now, Lampe and Tate add their names to what continues to be a doubles tennis state title dynasty at Newton-Conover.
