Lady Bears move back into top 25 poll

The Lenoir-Rhyne softball team moved back into the national rankings this week. The Lady Bears are ranked No. 23 in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) NCAA Div. II top 25 Poll.

Lenoir-Rhyne is 37-10 on the season, and has won 15 of its last 16 games including eight straight contests.

L-R is also in a three-way tie for first place in the South Atlantic Conference standings with Anderson and Tusculum at 9-3.

Lenoir-Rhyne hosts Brevard (18-19, 7-7) in a league doubleheader on Friday afternoon at Bears Field beginning at 3 p.m.

The NFCA NCAA Div. II top 25 Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Div. II head coaches with two representing each of the eight NCAA regions.
