Indians win Classic; 7 co. wrestlers take titles

St. Stephens High School held the 41st Annual Indian Classic wrestling tournament on Saturday. The event is the longest one-day tournament in the entire state of North Carolina.

The Indians captured the team title, edging West Iredell by 10.5 points. Four Indians also captured individual titles, including Blake Rogers (113 pounds), Zach Fincannon (152 pounds), Warren Boyett (170 pounds) and Dillon Lominac (285 pounds).

Other county wrestlers earning titles include Bandys' Camron Crowe (138 pounds), Anthony Christopher (195 pounds) and Zac Whisnant (220 pounds).
