Tied 39-39 entering the fourth quarter, the St. Stephens boys basketball team grinded out a 54-45 road victory against Bunker Hill on Friday.

Jordan James scored 19 points and Kerigan Farley pitched in 10 points to lead the Indians (2-2).

For Bunker Hill (0-4), Jason Setzer and Jordan McGinnis scored 10 points each.

St. Stephens played and up and down game, taking an early 17-11 lead before trailing at halftime, 33-29.

The Bears took their halftime lead thanks in part to six three-point baskets in the opening half, four of which came from Setzer and Colton Chapman.

A 15-point fourth quarter and solid defense propelled the Indians to the victory in the game.

Both teams return to the court Tuesday. St. Stephens hosts Maiden, while Bunker Hill travels to Fred T. Foard.
