High school football player back in court

Bunker Hill high school student and football player will be back in court for another assault charge.

Justin Dennis Lynch, 18, of 4562 N N.C. 16, Conover was charged with assault with serious injury on Sept. 23. According to court reports, Lynch hit the victim in the face multiple times causing a broken nose, bruises, swelling and a hole in his head that required him to seek emergency medical attention. Lynch paid his unsecured bond of $1,000 and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 7.
