Hickory uses five-run 8th to tie series with Alexander

The Area IV playoff series between Hickory Post 48 and Alexander County Post 170 is tied.

Post 48 scored five runs in the bottom of the eighth and held off a furious rally by Post 170 to win 10-7 on Wednesday night at Henkel-Alley Field.
