Hickory man charged with assault with weapon

After a search on Friday, Dec. 14, Newton Police Department located and charged Joshuah Richard Little, 31, of Hickory with Assault With a Deadly Weapon.

Friday around 4:30 p.m. Newton Police responded to a call by Christian Allen Brown, 20, of Newton. Brown reported that he and a passenger were stopped on N. Main Ave. in Newton by Little and another man, Horace Bost, 29.
