Harper solid in Roughriders debut, team wins 43-16

Justin Harper made a successful debut Friday in the Canadian Football League regular season, helping to lead Saskatchewan to a 43-16 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Harper caught two passes for 32 yards from Roughriders quarterback Darian Durant. His longest catches was an 18-yard grab.

After leading 16-13 at the half, the Roughriders scored 17 points in the the third quarter to pull away for the victory.

Saskatchewan's next CFL game is Sunday, July 8 against the Edmonton Eskimos at 3 p.m.
