Hard work pays off for VFW

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 5305 of Newton has received a high honor — the All-State Team Award. The award is given in recognition of their hard work within the community.

"The District is made up of eight hard working posts that help out veterans, community, active duty members and their families," said Larry Teague, senior vice of District 14.
