Hamm elected governor

Newton-Conover High School rising senior  Rachael Hamm was elected 2013 N.C. Tarheel Girl State Governor last month.

Hamm attended Girls State the week of June 9-15 at Catawba College in Salisbury. Approximately 300 young ladies from across the state were in attendance.  Among the many activities during the week, elections and debates were held  in order to elect a governor.
