Group protests prayer in Hickory

The Hickory chapter of the American Humanist Association was letting their voice be heard on the block in downtown Hickory on Thursday.

The Hickory Humanist Alliance was protesting the National Day of Prayer because the day is endorsed by what the alliance calls “secular government.”
