Greater Hickory Kia Classic to be on modified course

Nearly a month and a half ago, the future of the 2013 Greater Hickory Kia Classic was uncertain.

After 9.5 inches of rain in three hours gushed through Rock Barn Golf & Spa, Executive Tournament Director Jim Correll wasn’t sure whether or not the Champions Tour would be able to hold its annual event in Conover.

Immediately after the storms, Rock Barn officials started surveying all of the damage and making plans for repair.
