When Alex Ehrnsberger started her senior graduation project last year, she never thought her “final product” would be featured in the Android app store.

Fellow senior Briannen Arey also never thought her penultimate product would be a book published for readers online.

Allison Todd, too, had no clue people from Germany and Russia would be reading her project’s online blog.

The three seniors are just a handful of students at the Discovery School at Newton-Conover preparing to put the finishing touches on their graduation projects — year-long ventures that exceed most of the seniors’ original expectations.
