Gov. McCrory to attend plant dedication

A derelict former plant that's been sold, gutted and completely refurbished is getting lots of attention next week when the new facility is dedicated, with Gov. Patrick McCrory expected to attend.

Greta Lint, who is acting as a spokesperson for the city of Conover in the matter told the Observer News Enterprise this week that Lee Industries has completely renovated the old Conover Chair plant.
