Golden Girls

Four local girls brought home gold medals in the 2013-14 Girl Scout troop year.

“These young women each saw needs or issues in their communities that required attention,” said Marcia Cole, chief executive officer of Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont (GSCP2)P. “And because of what they have learned in Girl Scouting about leadership and commitment to others, they were able to take a stand on these issues and make a positive difference for those around them.”
