Claud Clifford Auton, 84, of PJ McRee Road, Maiden, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011 at CMC Lincoln in Lincolnton.  Burke Mortuary in Maiden is serving the Auton Family.

Donald Eugene Burleson, 56, of Conover, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, at Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley.  The Burleson family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Drum Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Conover.

Wm. Vance Cook Jr., of Mt. Holly, died suddenly May 24, 2011, at a ministers meeting in Columbia, S.C.
A memorial service was conducted May 30, 2011, at Charlotte Christian Assembly with Pastor Matamba Mbuyabu officiating.

Gary Douglas Little, 47, of Conover, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory.  Burke Mortuary in Newton is serving the Little family.

James "PJ" Stanley, 61, of Claremont, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton.
