Dorcas Gomedela, 88, formerly of Newton, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011 in Williamsburg, Va.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton.

Georgie Lou Hendricks Johnson, 85, of Springs East Road, Lincolnton, died on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011 at Palliative Care Center & Hospice of Catawba Valley in Newton.  Burke Mortuary in Maiden is serving the Johnson Family.
