Harold Nelson Jones, 52, of Connelly Springs, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011.  The Jones family has entrusted arrangements to Drum Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Hickory.

Ella Goodson Abernethy, 96, of Lincolnton, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at her home surrounded by her family.  Services will be held Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church.

Sarah Elizabeth Mosteller Wishon, 66, of Catawba, went home to be with Jesus and her beloved husband of 47 years, Billy, and many other precious loved ones, Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory.  Burke Mortuary in Newton is serving the Wishon family.
