Gail Hoyle Scronce, 64, of  Newton, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011, at Pallatiative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley.  The Scronce family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Drum Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Conover.

Harold Eugene Braswell Jr., 43, of Maiden, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011, at Catawba Valley Medical Center.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Fairview Baptist Church in Lincolnton with the Rev. Dwayne Pearson officiating.

Martha Sue Whitener Roberts, 75, of Maiden, passed away April 12, 2011, at Frye Regional Medical Center.  Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Salem United Church of Christ.

Roy Lee Fisher, 72, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at Frye Regional Medical Center.  The family receive friends from 5-6:30 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011, at New Life Fellowship Church in Newton.
