Free compost, mulch for Newton residents

The city of Newton has a limited amount of compost and mulch that is being offered to Newton residents free of charge.

Citizens may pick up the compost and/or mulch at the city’s facility on Boston Road (off N.C. 10 West) on May 28 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
