The latest dual team coaches poll was released Monday, and included among the ranks are four Catawba County teams.

Newton-Conover is the highest ranked tean among those in the 2A ranks, while Foard is the top 3A team.

The Red Devils (15-0), coming off a second tournament win in a row this past weekend at North Iredell, received 166 votes, including two first-place votes.

N-C trailed only Croatan and Piedmont in the poll.

Bandys also received votes in the 2A ranks, but was just outside the top five in sixth place.
