Founder and CEO of Sarstedt remembered by Newton facility

Walter Sarstedt

Walter Sarstedt, 77,  of Nümbrecht, Germany passed away May 17,  after a short period of declining health.
Sarstedt was an engineer, inventor, entrepreneur, teacher, mentor and visionary leader.

Starting at the age of 25 in 1961, he used his tool and die manufacturing education and his intellectual creativity and dedication to grow a one-man operation that began in a small garage into a worldwide enterprise.
