Flu vaccines available

During the month of October, Catawba County citizens won’t have to look far to find flu shots.

Catawba County Public Health and Catawba County Council on Aging are both holding several flu vaccine clinics throughout the month at different locations.

“Flu season is a good time to remember the importance of vaccinations,” Catawba County Public Health Director Doug Urland said. “Many diseases no longer exist in our community because of vaccines. We encourage everyone to prevent the flu this season by getting vaccinated.”
