First ‘Shop Local’ winners revealed

Catawba County residents and businesses are winning big in the O-N-E’s ‘Shop Local’ Hometown Christmas promotion.

Newton resident McDonald Foster won $100 in Hometown Christmas bucks by supporting locally-owned businesses in the area.

Foster visited Hometown Christmas participant Conover Hardware, completed an entry form and dropped it in the Hometown Christmas  gift box.

Hickory resident Gabbie Box and her daughter, Kaylee, also won $100 in Hometown Christmas bucks.
