Fatal Conover accident

A single vehicle accident claimed the life of a Conover teen as he was driving home just after 2 a.m. Thursday morning.

Zachary Benefield, 18, a resident of Sipe’s Orchard Home lost control of his 2000 Acura passenger car while traveling north on Herman Sipe Road according to North Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper C.M. Trouille.
