ECCCM expects surge

Due to recent events in North Carolina, approximately 70,000 citizens lost their unemployment benefits last week and about 500,000 citizens have been denied Medicaid benefits statewide.

Eastern Catawba Cooperative Christian Ministry (ECCCM) anticipates an increase in requests for crisis services and is available to assist with requests from individuals in the eastern Catawba County area.
