Driver cited for DWI

A vehicle accident congested traffic for almost an hour as well as knocked out power late Thursday afternoon around 4:40 p.m.

Newton Police Department, along with Newton Fire Department and rescue squad responded to a single car wreck on N.C. 16 and Eastmont Dr.
